At St Joseph’s we have a strong vibrant community that is very important to us as a school. A community of students, teachers, staff, parents, parish, and wider school who support, pray for and learn from each other unites us all.

The parish community supports our school and we enjoy being part of this community.

Kāhui Ako

As schools in the local area, we work together in the local Kāhui Ako-  which is a group of the local schools that work together so that our young people have clear learning pathways, to help them achieve their full potential.

The Waihi Kāhui Ako was formed as a cluster of schools working collaboratively to raise achievement for all tamariki and their whanau in the Waihi area. The journey started in 2016 and has been evolving and gaining traction since then.
